HELP WANTED: We are looking to expand our outreach, and have limited staff to be able to handle it, as Embrace is volunteer run. We are looking for the following help:
– Someone to coordinate refreshments for receptions at Our Lady of Loreto after the 4th Wednesday Embrace
– Someone to help advertise us on social media / any other creative avenues

Embrace – n. A communal worship space for the Catholic Church in which families can come together to adore our Lord in the Holy Eucharist.
The final battle for our world will be fought on the battleground of the family. With divorce rates exceeding 60%, marriages and therefore families have a far greater chance in our cultural climate of thriving and growing in holiness when spending intentional time together in the Eucharistic presence of Jesus Christ. The Archdiocese of Hartford has made tremendous strides towards revitalizing the vocation to the priesthood of Jesus Christ. Embrace is our offering to increase devotion to the healing of the family and the vocation to marriage at large, alongside these efforts.
In June, 2024, this idea was brought to life at our first ever Embrace, hosted at St. Michael the Archangel Church in Waterbury, CT. Starting with only 8 attendees, Embrace drew a crowd of 140 people in just 6 months.
We will typically host Embrace at Our Lady of Loreto Church (12 Ardsley Rd, Waterbury, CT 06708) every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month.
We will be hosting Embrace at Sacred Heart Church (910 Main St S, Southbury, CT 06488) on Tuesday, September 1st!
We have previously hosted Embrace at St. Peter’s Church (99 E Main St, Torrington, CT 06790).

Prayer for Our Ministry
Lord, if it pleases you, grant us by all Your holy angels and saints a special protection over Your ministry, Embrace,
and all who serve You through it, and help us bring Your kingdom to the family, and Your family to the kingdom.
May the family and Your priesthood remain under the care of Your Blessed Mother and St. Joseph forever. Lord, in Your mercy, heal the family.
